A joint lesson on the topic “The Importance of Artificial Intelligence in Teaching Literature” was held at the Faculty of Social Sciences of Namangan State Pedagogical Institute as part of the course “Methods of Teaching Uzbek Literature.” The lesson was organized collaboratively by Nafisa Abdujalilova, winner of the “Best Subject Teacher of the Year — 2026” competition, and Raykhona Tillayeva, Head of the Department of Philology.
The session aimed to introduce advanced pedagogical practices into the educational process, strengthen interdisciplinary integration, and develop the professional and methodological competencies of future teachers.
During the lesson, participants explored the potential of artificial intelligence technologies in literature teaching, modern pedagogical approaches, and the application of interactive teaching methods. Particular attention was paid to analyzing literary works using digital technologies, developing students’ independent thinking skills, and integrating theoretical knowledge with practical activities.
The lesson also highlighted the importance of teachers’ methodological expertise, creative approaches, and purposeful use of modern technologies in improving the quality and effectiveness of education. Participants exchanged ideas and experiences, discussing the pedagogical appropriateness of using artificial intelligence tools, as well as the importance of independent analysis and critical thinking.
Furthermore, Nafisa Abdujalilova’s achievement in the “Best Subject Teacher of the Year — 2026” competition and her advanced pedagogical experience were recognized. Students received answers to their questions, along with recommendations and methodological guidance that they can apply in their future teaching careers.
At the conclusion of the lesson, Nafisa Abdujalilova was presented with a Letter of Appreciation and a commemorative gift on behalf of the institute’s administration.
Such collaborative lessons play an important role in promoting advanced pedagogical practices, integrating modern educational technologies into the learning process, and enhancing the professional competence of future teachers.
