A scientific-theoretical seminar titled "My Uzbek Language is My Pride" was held

At the Namangan State Pedagogical Institute, events dedicated to Uzbek Language Day continued with a scientific-theoretical seminar themed "My Uzbek Language is My Pride," held in the assembly hall of the Higher School of Preschool, Primary, and Pedagogical Education.

The seminar was opened with introductory remarks by Otabek Bazarov, Deputy Hokim of Namangan Region for Youth Policy, Social Development, and Spiritual-Enlightenment Affairs; Iroda Qo‘chqarova, Advisor to the Hokim of the Region on Improving the Effectiveness of Spiritual-Enlightenment Work and Ensuring Compliance with Legislation on the State Language; and Musoxon Appakov, Head of the Namangan Regional Department of the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment.

The speeches highlighted the role of our mother tongue in public life, enhancing its prestige, educating the younger generation in the spirit of respect for national values, and strengthening attention to the state language.

During the scientific part of the seminar, Muminjon Sulaymonov, Associate Professor of the Department of Uzbek Literary Studies at Namangan State University and Candidate of Philological Sciences, delivered a lecture on "Stages of Historical Development of the Uzbek Language." His presentation scientifically highlighted the historical evolution and stages of development of our mother tongue.

Matluba Ulkanboyeva, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Philology at Namangan State Pedagogical Institute and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philological Sciences, participated with a lecture titled "Language — The Symbol of National Identity." The lecture revealed the importance of language in understanding national identity and passing down the history and spiritual heritage of the people to future generations.

In the final part, Bahodir Xusanov, Rector of the Institute, Doctor of Philosophical Sciences, Professor, and Ziyoviddin Mansurov, Head of the Namangan Regional Branch of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan, spoke.

The scientific-theoretical seminar served to enrich knowledge about the historical roots and current development of our mother tongue, elevate the linguistic culture of students and youth, and strengthen feelings of respect and involvement towards the Uzbek language.
