Spiritual and Educational Tour to the State Museum of Local Lore
Under the guidance of F. Bakhriddinova and M. Abdujabborov, instructors at the Department of Historical and Philosophical Sciences within the Faculty of Social and Humanities at the Namangan State Pedagogical Institute, a spiritual and educational tour to the State Museum of Local Lore was organized for 3rd-year History students.
Students directly examined historical periods, material culture samples, and local history through museum exhibits. Getting acquainted with ancient artifacts, manuscripts, numismatic samples, and ethnographic items brought the historical eras to life in the students' minds. Future history teachers and specialists also familiarized themselves with museum pedagogy and methods for presenting museum exhibits to students.
The rich exhibits displayed in the museum halls sparked great interest among the students. In particular: Ancient working tools, utensils, and archaeological findings discovered in our region provided a comprehensive understanding of the lifestyle of people from that era.
Samples of national handicrafts, embroidery pieces, national costumes, and household items showcased the rich cultural heritage of our people. Documents and photographs highlighting historical changes in the social, educational, and public life of the Namangan region left a deep impression on the students.
During the tour, students received detailed answers to their questions from department instructors and museum specialists. Such practical events strengthen young people's love for the history discipline and lay the groundwork for their scientific and creative research.
