On the initiative of Muqaddas Pozilova, a lecturer at the Department of Philosophical and Historical Sciences of Namangan State Pedagogical Institute, an intellectual quiz competition titled “Zakovat” was organized to mark the 37th anniversary of Uzbek being granted the status of the state language.

The competition brought together students majoring in History from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Applied Mathematics from the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences. The participants put their knowledge and intellectual abilities to the test.

During the intense and closely contested competition among three teams, the participants’ knowledge was evaluated by a panel of judges. The panel was chaired by Associate Professor Nodirbek Qodirov, PhD in Philosophy.

According to the final results, the teams achieved the following places:

1st place — the “Alfraganus” team; 

2nd place — the “Ko‘hinur” team; 

3rd place — the “Everest” team.

At the end of the event, students who actively participated were awarded special certificates.

The intellectual competition helped reinforce students’ knowledge, develop their logical thinking skills, and further strengthen their respect and appreciation for their mother tongue.
