Preventive activities were organized at Namangan State Pedagogical Institute to prevent juvenile delinquency, promote a healthy lifestyle, and raise awareness of the harmful consequences of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.

As part of the large-scale rapid preventive month-long campaign entitled “Combating the Spread of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Among Young People,” meetings were held with students from the Faculties of Pedagogy, Exact and Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences. The meetings were organized through cooperation between the institute’s prevention inspector, S. Ahmadjonov, and tutors from the Department of Youth Affairs, Spirituality, and Enlightenment.

During the meetings, students were informed about the harmful effects of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances on human health, psychological well-being, and future prospects. They were also provided with explanations of the legal penalties prescribed for their illegal circulation.

The importance of avoiding harmful habits, making productive use of free time, improving legal awareness, and making responsible decisions in life was also emphasized.

Such preventive activities help strengthen a healthy environment among young people, prevent offenses, and contribute to securing a prosperous future for the younger generation.
