As part of Youth Day, Namangan State Pedagogical Institute held a general preventive roundtable discussion entitled “Key Factors in the Development of Cyber Hygiene and Cyber Culture,” led by First Vice-Rector A. Isoqboyev. Participants included Major O. Jalolov, Deputy Head of the Department for Combating Cybercrime of the Namangan Regional Department of Internal Affairs; Lieutenant Colonel D. Mahkamov, an inspector for special assignments at the department; and B. Asadullayev.

➖ During the event, students received guidance on safe internet use, protecting personal information, staying alert on social media, and avoiding cyber fraud.

➖ Special attention was given to common online fraud schemes, avoiding suspicious links and messages from unknown sources, and keeping bank card details and confidential codes private.

➖ Students were also shown how to enable two-step protection in the “Qo‘riqchi” APK application and use it correctly. Practical assistance was provided to help activate the security system. Specialists also gave detailed answers to participants’ questions.

➖ The roundtable helped improve students’ digital literacy, foster cyber culture, and strengthen their knowledge of cybercrime prevention.
