The event focused on the great scholars who emerged from the ancient land of Akhsikent, their significant contributions to the development of science, medicine, history and spirituality, as well as the preservation and promotion of the rich scientific and cultural heritage of our ancestors.

The event opened with welcoming remarks by Bahodir Ergashevich Khusanov, Rector of the Namangan State Pedagogical Institute, Doctor of Philosophy and Professor. He congratulated the author on the publication of the new work and highlighted its importance in educating the younger generation and strengthening historical memory.

The author of the book, Mirmahmud Mirsaydullayev, Doctor of Medical and Historical Sciences and Professor, then spoke about the history behind the creation of “Great Scholars of Akhsikent”, its content, objectives and educational significance.

During the presentation, Tursunboy Fayzullayev, Professor at Namangan State University, Doctor of Political Sciences and recipient of the “El-yurt hurmati” Order, delivered a speech. Also speaking were Abdurashid Boltabaev, Deputy Chairperson of the Namangan Regional Department of the Nuroniy Foundation; Muminjon Sulaymonov, Associate Professor at Namangan State University, Candidate of Philological Sciences; and Abduvohid Isoqov, Deputy Imam of the Ishoq Hoji Jome Mosque in Yangikurgan District.

The speakers shared their views on the scholarly, historical and educational significance of the new publication.

“Great Scholars of Akhsikent” is an important educational work aimed at studying and promoting the rich scientific and spiritual heritage of our great ancestors.

After all, studying the legacy of great ancestors means understanding history, and understanding history means gaining a deeper awareness of our national identity.

Such scholarly and educational initiatives contribute to a deeper study of our nation’s rich history and help foster in the younger generation a sense of responsibility to preserve and carry forward the legacy of their ancestors.
