Under the leadership of A. Isoqboyev, First Vice-Rector of Namangan State Pedagogical Institute, an educational meeting was organized on the topic “National Values and Their Role in the Spirituality of the Nation.” The event aimed to help students gain a deeper understanding of the meaning and essence of national values, strengthen their sense of national identity and belonging to their homeland, and foster respect for the customs and traditions passed down from generation to generation.

➡️ The event was attended by M. Khodjayev, the Rector’s Adviser on Issues Concerning the Stabilization of the Institute’s Social and Spiritual Environment; B. Tillayev, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Philosophical and Historical Sciences and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philosophy; and R. Tillayeva, Head of the Department of Philology. They shared their views on the role of national values in society, their importance in educating young people, and their contribution to strengthening national spirituality.

➡️ During the meeting, participants discussed in detail the rich spiritual heritage of the Uzbek people, shaped over centuries, including its customs and traditions, as well as the significance of national values in the modern world. It was emphasized that preserving the values inherited from our ancestors, enriching their meaning, and passing them on to the younger generation are the spiritual responsibilities of every individual.

➡️ Attention was also drawn to the role of national values in family, mahalla (local community), and social life, as well as their importance in raising young people in the spirit of patriotism, humanism, respect for elders, care for younger people, kindness, compassion, mutual understanding, and solidarity.

➡️ It was noted that, in today’s world of globalization and rapidly expanding information flows, it is particularly important for young people to understand their national identity, respect their historical and spiritual heritage, and develop the ability to think independently and critically about various alien ideas. At the same time, the importance of not merely knowing national values but also reflecting them in everyday life and behavior was emphasized.

➡️ During the educational meeting, students asked questions on topics that interested them and shared their views on national values, spiritual heritage, and youth education. The meeting, conducted in an open-dialogue format, helped broaden the students’ knowledge and deepen their understanding of the subject.
